Jeweller April Dace shares her tips for incorporate the spring season into your wedding jewellery.

"There are so many ways to add a little spring to your wedding jewellery. My first thoughts are to incorporate some subtle hints of colour. Look for jewellery in mixed metals, such as rose gold and silver or yellow gold and white gold, to bring some warmth and freshness. If you’re not shy about colour or sparkle, look for jewellery with gemstones such as tourmalines and sapphires. These gemstones have a beautiful range of tones, ranging from bold and vibrant to soft and subtle. Pale pinks and woodland greens are my favourites and showcase the beauty of the season perfectly.

"Alternatively, if you’re looking for something more traditional or prefer things simple, diamonds are a classic and timeless addition to any dress or suit and won’t clash with your hair, make-up, or other wedding day accessories. If you’re a pearl lover, even better! Pearls are a great way to add subtle colour and softness without breaking the bank."

Make-up artist Megan Hartley reveals how to get your skin looking its best in the run-up to your wedding.

"You can’t have a flawless face without putting in the work behind the scenes. Your make-up is only as flawless as your skin is. Be sure to cleanse (twice if removing make-up) and moisturise twice daily with the relevant products for your skin. If you have dry skin, look for moisturisers containing hyaluronic acid. If you have an oilier complexion, consider products with salicylic or niacinamide as an ingredient.

"Drink water and lots of it! If you don’t already, start now. Make sure you implement these regimes as early as possible; it may take weeks, even months, to see visible improvement in your skin. If you have major skin concerns, seek professional help from a skincare specialist.

"On the day, for a flawless base, be sure to make sure your skin is hydrated. Extra emphasis on moisturiser, even if you’re prone to being oily. All skin craves hydration! Alcohol is a diuretic, so keeping that to a minimum is very beneficial."

Wedding planner Lydia, of Ella Parisa, was the creator of this gorgeous styled shoot at Kent’s Hever Castle. The inspiration was to seamlessly blend a traditional English civil wedding with the vibrancy of Indian cultural elements which were woven throughout the design.

“Reflecting the rich hues of Indian weddings, we embraced a palette of blush and pink tones complemented by pops of bright berry and burgundy,” shares Lydia. “Gold accents throughout added a touch of luxury, while vibrant pink chairs and linens brought a sense of elegance and romance.”

Hever Castle’s lakeside Loggia and Italian gardens provided a breathtaking backdrop. “The rich history and stunning architecture of the castle seamlessly blended with the vibrant fusion of cultures, creating a setting that was both majestic and intimately personal,” adds Lydia.

“To infuse the shoot with personality, we incorporated meaningful and personalised elements throughout the styling. The Embroidered Napkin Company’s velvet ribbons adorned each place setting with the initials of every guest, while table names paid homage to special places in India close to the couple’s hearts. Ester & Erik taper candles featured hand-calligraphed romantic sayings by the talented Beeta Taylor-Sadeghi, adding an extra layer of romance and intimacy."
