New Liverpool bridal boutique, Unbridled Studio, was founded by creative director Anna Vesty who has drawn upon her extensive experience designing for luxury readyto- wear and bridal brands.

Seeing a gap in the market for a contemporary, multi-functional and versatile bridal collection, Unbridled Studio launched in 2023. Anna is joined by commercial director Ruth Malton who has more than 20 years in the fashion industry, working with several world-renowned brands. It was at iconic British brand Amanda Wakeley where Anna and Ruth met. Having celebrated their engagements at the same time, both set about planning their weddings within months of each other, which turned their working relationship into a true friendship. The brand's unconventional and beautifully-cut styles allow you to customise your bridal look and make it as unique as you are. From modern bridal gowns to transformative layering pieces, Unbridled Studio offers cleverly-cut bridal pieces with multiple styling options. Together, Anna and Ruth ensure that their uncompromising passion for beautiful product, quality fabrics and expert cut is paramount throughout their collection.

Prices start from £1,795 for bridal gowns and £695 for bridal separates. Find out more at www.unbridledstudio.co.uk

The team at The Wedding Club share their wedding dress trends predictions for 2024.

"Last year, we saw the return of the structured corset, whereas 2024 is all about dual wedding pieces. We’re talking detachable lace arms and puff sleeves that take one dress and elevate it into a different look midway through the wedding.

"Not too far from this will be the mix-and-match look. We are seeing more and more designers creating modern two-pieces that all cohesively work with one another; think power suits with interchangeable tops.

"Last but not least, bold mini dresses are charging up the poll, becoming increasingly popular as a wedding reception choice, allowing a bride more freedom to socialise and show off their moves on the dancefloor."

Hair stylist Stacie Goodwin tells us how to fix heat damage to your hair before the big day.

"Firstly, remove any split ends where possible. Nothing will repair a split end, so have as much trimmed off as you can and this will help to eliminate any further breakage. Look at getting a bond-building treatment, such as Olaplex, to help strengthen your hair. This could be done in a salon, but there’s also some great at-home treatments too.

"Invest in a good-quality heat protector. There are hundreds of products on the market, from sprays and oils to creams, so there will be something suitable for your hair type and they really do work!

"Finally, check your heat settings on your tongs or straighteners. Around 180 to 200 degrees is more than sufficient for most hair types, so try turning the temperature down a notch to see if that helps."

Make-up artist, Ella French tells us the top bridal make-up trends for 2024.

"As a bridal and occasion make-up specialist, I believe that the prevailing make-up trend in 2024 will be timeless glam and natural elegance. Brides are gravitating towards looks that enhance their features with a touch of sophistication. Imagine radiant skin, subtly defined eyes with bronze tones, rosy cheeks and a focus on the lips.

"As the demand for pared-back foundations and skin tints increases, we can expect to see more looks that conceal and treat the skin simultaneously. Brides will be opting for fresh, second-skin-like make-up that accentuates their individual beauty, steering away from overly dramatic styles."

The inspiration for this styled shoot was taken from Chloe Biginelli from Sown & Wild’s favourite time of year, when summer turns to autumn. “We used warm colours, which tied in beautifully with the dried flowers and macramé,” says Chloe. “With sustainability and eco-friendly products at the forefront for so many, we wanted to ensure this was weaved into the themes of the shoot. What we didn’t expect was the female empowerment this shoot created, from the female generation-inspired macramé to the maternal influences. It was more than we could’ve imagined and was inspiring to witness.”

We've all been on hen and stag dos where only half the group know each other and if you're not part of that half, it can become an awkward social situation. Any tension melts away and by the time you start eating, the noise and laughter will be cacophonous!
Cooking It is based just a five-minute drive from the centre of Bristol on Chandos Road (often known as Foodie Street) with plenty of parking around the kitchen. It's also mere minutes walk from Whiteladies Road and Gloucester Road where you can carry on the party afterwards. You're welcome to bring your own drinks as a prelude to your cookery session where, with a glass of wine in hand, you'll work through a menu designed to embrace any dietary requirements. With music in the background and under the guidance of the chef, you prepare the whole dish, dishes, feast or afternoon tea. An atmosphere of relaxed laughter and fun is assured. A variety of cook-off activities with varying prices, times and challenges are available, and most group sizes are accommodated.
