Singita Faru Faru Lodge unveils new look: Image 1 Singita recently unveiled the new look for Singita Faru Faru Lodge - perfect for honeymooners who are looking to make a difference. Well-heeled honeymooners serious about conservation and philanthropy will feel right at home with Singita.

Located in a private 350,000 acre reserve, Singita Faru Faru Lodge has unveiled its new look which takes inspiration from the surrounding wilderness. The lodge resides on a riverside slope offering uninterrupted views of the Serengeti.

Touches of the clean, crisp geometry of African tribal pattern add to the contemporary feel and nods towards the evolution of modern design on the continent. From handcrafted furniture to unique fittings and bespoke objects, the rooms are filled with the work of local artisans.

The main living and dining areas have been expanded and now showcase an interactive kitchen adding a new dynamic to the dining experience. The open seating areas have been pulled forward, bringing guests closer to nature and the Serengeti to their fingertips. New central areas have also been added, including a Singita signature bar-deli, which encourages guests to enjoy drinks together, share a meal wherever suits them and take in their surroundings.

Apart from the twice-daily game drives, top activities for honeymooners include guided safari walks, relaxing at the spa, visiting the boutique and gallery or enjoying wine tastings of some of South Africa's best labels with a private wine sommelier. An incredible conservation experience for honeymooners include sundowners at one of Singita's high-flying anti-poaching observation points and meeting the anti-poaching task force for a first-hand insight into the new era of tactics Singita have introduced to combat wildlife poaching. Formerly made up of several hunting concessions, there were virtually no animals left in the area when Singita took over the reserve and even the migration avoided the area. 15 years on, the turnaround has been extraordinary.

Rates at Singita Faru Faru Lodge start from US $1,745 per person per night. This includes full-board basis, twice daily Land Rover safaris and return road transfers. Find out more at https://singita.com/
