Elivi Skiathos is delighted to launch a series of new wellness activities for the 2020 season that showcase the resort's unrivalled setting, surrounded by a wildlife refuge, forest and lagoon. Opening for the season on 8th May, the new activities include outdoor yoga classes, foraging excursions for kids and hiking or horse riding through the surrounding nature trails.
As part of the Kids Club which opened for the first time in May 2019, youngsters can go foraging through the forest that surrounds the hotel. Accompanied by a kid's instructor, they will go in search of olive tree leaves to make their own headbands back at the hotel and collect figs and pears to make fresh fruit juice. The activity is designed to encourage a love for nature in children and get them away from their electronic devices.
Situated in an area of natural beauty, guests can go hiking through the verdant forest surrounding the resort with 25 clearly marked nature trails for both hikers and cyclists. The resort can provide maps to help explore the paths, bikes can be hired and horse riding is also available through a local provider.
Daily yoga classes are to be held at the resort's new open-air gym, offering panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. Led by a qualified instructor, guests can take in the sea air whilst perfecting their inner yogi. Classes include traditional yoga and Pilates, as well as Acroyoga which incorporates acrobatics.
Perched on a hilltop on the Pounta Peninsula, overlooking the Aegean Sea, ELIVI SKIATHOS opened in June 2018. Elegant and one-of-a-kind, like the rare black swan which inspired the hotel design and ethos, it is Skiathos' most high-end hotel. The hotel was developed by father and daughter Elias and Vivi Nathanailidi and is located in an area of natural beauty beside a wildlife refuge, forest and lagoon with direct access to four of island's best beaches. It welcomes young, old, families and couples alike.
Elivi Skiathos opens for the 2020 season on 8th May. Rates start from 197 (£169 approx.) per night based on two people sharing a room.
