Six Senses is set to open its first Sub-Saharan African property
Six Senses Victoria Falls is Six Senses' latest project, which will front Princess Elizabeth Island on the approach to the largest waterfall in the world. The partially concealed, tree-level lodges at Six Senses Victoria Falls will be ecological, tactile, and understated to provide a bird's eye platform for what's most important, an authentic connection with the verdant nature and wildlife all around.
The resort is part of The House of Chinhara initiative to recover the majesty of Zimbabwean tourism by elevating the available accommodation count and quality for visitors to the Victoria Falls National Park, as well as providing host accommodation facilities and hospitality training opportunities. Victoria Falls comprises five individual falls, four of which are located in Zimbabwe. Of course, the animals know no borders, and elephants, pods of hippos, buffalo, big cats, and primates will be doing their thing under the lodges.

Bad Ragaz in Switzerland has been awarded a third Michelin Star for its renowned restaurant
One of Europe's leading Wellbeing & Medical Health Resorts has won its third Michelin star for its restaurant, Memories. Now with a total of six Michelin stars across its restaurants, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is becoming a culinary destination.
In addition to the third star for Memories, the fine dining restaurant also secured a Green Michelin star - an annual award which highlights restaurants at the forefront of the industry when it comes to their sustainable practices. The Michelin testers also confirmed the stars for the resort's other two restaurants, IGNIV by Andreas Caminada and verve by sven, which have two and one stars respectively.

Hotel de Len has opened after a complete renovation
Hotel de Len opened at the end of 2021 after a total renovation of the former Hotel Impero, located in the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. The sustainble project was designed by the Gris+Dainese studio in Venice and offers a contemporary experience.
Open year-round, the property has 22 rooms, a spa on the top floor overlooking the mountains and valley, as well as a restaurant and a bar.
During the warmer seasons, Cortina d'Ampezzo offers more than 850 climbing routes for hiking and trekking, as well as restaurants and mountain refuges. Cortina is also famous for its via ferratas, equipped with metal cables, walkways, suspension bridges and stairs. Additionally, there are 16 routes for mountain bike enthusiasts, numerous options for E-bikes and 700km of cycle paths for road bikes that take you through breathtaking landscapes.

Harvest season has arrived at Château Troplong Mondot in France
To mark the year's grape harvest or 'vendange' at Bordeaux's Château Troplong Mondot, in September and October overnight guests at this Premier Grand Cru wine estate are invited to experience the legendary vineyard at this most exciting time in the wine-making calendar. During the harvest season, there is a very distinctive feel to a stay at Troplong Mondot, as a whole year of working in the vineyard comes together to create a new vintage, and oenophiles gather across France's most well-known region to experience the buzz in the air.
This year's hot and dry weather means that harvesting started on Monday 29 August, with around 12 to 13 days of picking taking place over the course of approximately one month. The team take their time, ensuring the grapes are picked at their perfectly matured state, with Merlot the first to be harvested, and Cabernet Sauvignon the last ripen. While staying at the estate during harvest, overnight guests will witness the team's camaraderie first hand; from the vineyard views offered by the château's elegant accommodation, they may spot the team proudly loading the precious berries onto Troplong Mondot's tractors, which work right across the terroir's 43 hectares of vines.
