Laura Beth Hartley, 31, married Richard James Pattison, 30, at St John's Church, Wentbridge followed by a reception at Wentbridge House Hotel on 25th March, 2017.
Here Laura tells us more...
I tried on about 10 dresses in total and the one I chose was actually the second I put on. I feel it suited me because it really cinched in my waist and balanced out my tall frame.
Richard wore a navy blue suit with a white shirt, a floral tie and pocket square with Ted Baker shoes.
I really loved the natural and wild look of the bouquets. We didn't want to go for a perfectly round shape because we wanted them to appear effortless – like they'd just been picked and put together right there and then.
We had three beautiful flowergirls, our daughter Eliza, and my cousins' daughters Georgina and Isla as well as our two nephews Declan and Jack as our pageboys. We wanted to have a very family-focused wedding with children playing a big role.
I wanted a large bouquet, something wild and uneven with lots of colour, a sweet fragrance and a 'freshly-picked' garden flower look.
Our centrepieces were large wooden lanterns containing a large pillar candle,
smaller candles dotted around with ivy winding through them. We decided on
these arrangements because we didn’t want anything oversized or too imposing.
My wedding make-up was just flawless and it stayed put all day. My eyes were done beautifully and the make-up artist really made them pop.
I wanted fresh flowers for my hair as I thought it would suit the style I'd gone for as well as the overall theme.
We had a four-tier cake and incorporated a blush tier and a powder-blue tier. Each layer was a different flavour and we chose three little birds as our cake topper to represent myself, Rick and Eliza.
The violinist was an amazing addition to our ceremony. It really brought a classic feel to the church service and the music played was very personal.
