Pretty in pink Laura and Danny’s special day at Buckinghamshire’s Chicheley Hall was decorated with a pink, black and white colour theme Images courtesy of Marcus Charter Wedding Photography Danny and Laura met when Danny was working as a doorman at a local club that Laura visited. “He was standing at the bottom of the stairs as I walked down into the venue,” Laura tells us. “I remember looking at him and thinking how handsome he was. I needed an excuse to speak to him, so I asked him for a lighter, even though I didn’t smoke! A few months later, I received a friend request from him on Facebook. We started talking and then he invited me over for dinner. After that, we became inseparable.” The couple became engaged during a weekend trip to London. “I had treated Danny to the weekend away as a Christmas present and we spent a great day out shopping and eating,” Laura tells us. “While we were waiting for the tube, I asked Danny when he was going to propose to me! When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist asked me about a balloon package, which I told him we wouldn’t be needing. The next thing I knew, as we entered the room, I was greeted by rose petals scattered over the floor and on the bed spelling out the words ‘will you marry me’ which was a wonderful surprise! There were also balloons suspended from the ceiling and Danny was down on one knee with a ring, asking if I would marry him! It was a magical proposal.” Here, Laura tells us all about their special day at Chicheley Hall that was styled with a pink and monochrome white and black theme.
