When you know you’ve met the one why wait? See how Georgie and Phill celebrated their big day Images courtesy of Stacey Lou Photography Fairytale ending Georgie and Phill met in the gym in 2018 and after months of exchanging shy looks, Georgie’s best friend (and who would later be her maid-of-honour) left a note on Phill’s motorbike outside the gym. He texted Georgie that evening and their first date was just three days later. The couple had an instant connection, sharing the same family values, interests and ambitions – the perfect recipe for a happy marriage. When you know you’ve found the one, you don’t want to waste any time! The couple bought their first home together six months after their first date, and in 2022, welcomed their daughter, Ada. Everything felt right and the couple had naturally fallen into a blissful way of living; to make things official, Phill proposed to Georgie on Valentine’s Day 2023. Georgie recalls, “I left for work that morning like it was a normal day and thought he did too. Little did I know he had taken the day off work to plan our proposal. I returned home that evening to rose petals, twinkling lights and a balloon easel with the words ‘will you marry me?’ and Phill down on one knee”.
