Beth and Matthew's love of the great outdoors inspired their al fresco, nature-themed wedding

Beth O'Sullivan, 29, married Matthew Goad, 29, at Yurtcamp Devon in Liverton on 3rd September, 2016.

Here, Beth tells us more about their special day...

We both fell in love with Yurtcamp Devon.

Carry on camping: Image 2aOur centrepieces were slices of natural wood with lanterns and candles on top to help give the barn a nice glow.

Carry on camping: Image 2 Our top table was named after Hay River, the community in which we lived in Canada.

Each table name was a place we had visited together, and was labelled with a Polaroid picture of us.

Carry on camping: Image 4aMy bouquet had a natural feel with a pendant photograph of my late Nan on the stem. She'd passed away just two years previously.

Carry on camping: Image 4 Our cake was wonderful – it was made to look like tree bark, with two hand-carved brown bears sitting on top in a Canadian canoe!

Around the old oak tree in the centre of the camp we had a 'family tree' gallery complete with pictures of the family members no longer with us. We also strung old photographs of us from heart ribbon around the barn.

Carry on camping: Image 6aMy dress was made from Italian lace with white cap sleeves and had a stunning open back.

Carry on camping: Image 6 We decorated the various areas of the camp to give it a personalised feel. We hung bunting, strung hundreds of fairylights and displayed lots of lanterns and candles.

I wore my hair pinned up with flowers in it and went for natural make-up. I wore small pearl earrings that had belonged to my Nan.

Carry on camping: Image 8aWild flowers were expertly arranged by our florist to look as natural and unstructured as possible.

Carry on camping: Image 8 We hung cute hand-painted birdhouses from the trees to reflect our love of birds.

All six bridesmaids wore mint dresses, each with a slightly different style depending on their preference. They all looked so beautiful.

Carry on camping: Image 10aMatthew wore a fitted tweed jacket with a Ralph Lauren checked shirt and a navy bow tie, he looked very dapper! He actually took longer choosing his jacket than I did my dress!

Carry on camping: Image 10 We had a wooden sign decorated with arrows detailing the order of the day.

It poured with rain for our outdoor wedding so our guests took shelter in the high-top tipi, missing our vows. After an intimate ceremony with just three witnesses, we joined our guests back in the tipi where they showered us with love and support. It was so emotional and we both cried like babies!
