The look of love

Flowers, bunting and a bespoke suit for good measure, Verity and Liam's Bradbourne House wedding will never go out of style

I can't really remember our first date! A day that definitely does stand out though, is when Liam first met my family at a barbecue,” reveals Verity. “I was very nervous introducing my first boyfriend to my family, but it was fun.”

"It can't have gone that badly because after nine years of dating, Liam asked Verity to be his wife. “It was 4th August, 2013 and we'd arranged to have a picnic along the military canal in Rye,” remembers Verity. “He turned to me and said he had a question he wanted to ask. There were lots of tears and Liam said if I wanted to wear the ring, I had to say yes, which I obviously did!”

Here, Verity explains more about their beautiful dream wedding on 23rd May, 2015…

Charlotte, Pollyanna, Olivia and Fleur looked beautiful in their long pastel dresses. We originally had pink in mind but I saw the exact dresses I wanted in this shade and had to have them

The look of love: Image 2aI had a few trials and loved the way Kate Goodman did my hair and make-up. I wanted a natural look, as I still wanted to look like me.

The look of love: Image 2 This was about the fifth dress I tried on in the first wedding shop. It was so different to anything I'd ever seen before and instantly stood out.

Liam had a suit made for him by Jack Bunneys. He wears formal wear every day for work, so wanted a special bespoke three-piece suit for our wedding.

The look of love: Image 4aVerity's top tip: Try not to let other people's opinions influence you. It's your wedding, so make it a day that you want.

The look of love: Image 4 We adorned the venue with photographs of our parents and grandparents on their wedding day. It was a really nice touch and I'm so pleased we included it.

Kerry Ann Duffy's photography really stood out for us as she was able to produce natural shots. She made us feel really relaxed on the day. We'd highly recommend her to anyone.

The look of love: Image 6aKetta from Flossie Pops Cakery understood my vision. We ended up with a desserts table full of sweet treats.

The look of love: Image 6 Safe to say our menu went down a treat.
