Crystal Dugalo, 32, married Alex Jones, 34, at Melksham Court on 8th September, 2018.
We wanted a comfortable and relaxed feel to our day in one single location where all of our loved ones could stay for a week. We also wanted to arrange our own catering, so Melksham Court was the ideal choice for us. It had a barn and magnificent lawns, which held a reception tent.
Our buttonholes and bouquets were hand-made by Alex's aunt. The left overs were placed on tables and window ledges and in jars dotted around the venue.
Our centrepieces were lanterns scattered around with candles and flowers.
We decided against having a table plan we wanted our family to sit anywhere, with anyone.
Jo at Aqua Florist decorated the barn and mantelpiece that looked stunning.
We chose to have stacks of cheese from Paxton & Whitfield as our wedding cake it went down a storm!
Our food van went down a storm!
Alex wore a bespoke navy suit with a red andwhite polka dot tie.
Our bridesmaid wore a simple grey and beige fitteddress from Nordstrom.
Our groomsmen and Alex's dad wore dark grey suits with navy and white polka dot ties.
We made a gin bar and booze bar, and we hung pretty festoon lighting, small signs and pictures around the venue.
I wore Alexandra from Grace Loves Lace. It was elegant and simple, which suited the English countryside. I teamed it with some jeweled shoes.
We had a quartet play throughout the ceremony.
We had live band Rockaoke play during the evening. Instead of a firstdance, Alex and I performed a first song which he and the band totally carried me through!
