County Wedding Magazines editor Danielle Harvey says, "Even as a journalist, and having worked as the Beauty Editor here at County Wedding Magazines HQ before, I'm still overwhelmed with all that's on offer in the beauty and wellness industry. There are hundreds of make-up and beauty brands, thousands of products, heaps of online tutorials, and ample tips and advice, how do you honestly find out what's right for you? First and foremost for me with sensitive, eczema-prone skin is the ingredients of my products – what's in it? What am I putting on my face and body? I tend to opt for all-natural products and when it comes to my face especially; for daily cleansing I had resulted in just using Micellar Water for removing my make-up each day. Which, until this winter had proven fine. However, I'm not sure whether it was the change in the weather, or the constant wearing of a face mask – the new normal - I had two irritated patches of skin on my chin area that just would not go.

False eyelashes are an effortless glam addition to any make-up look, so even if we are at home for Christmas and New Year's Eve this year, you can still up your game! The art of application can be tricky to master but practise makes perfect. False eyelashes are popular because they can give the illusion of bigger eyes and a dramatic look and even if you're not wearing a full face of make-up, they can take your eyes to another level. Strip eyelashes are the most common and easier to apply on your own. They give a striking look whilst individual eyelashes can provide a more natural finish. Strip lashes are the most popular choice of false eyelash enhancements and can be extremely quick and easy to apply. Any rogue application can be easily avoided with accuracy. To reveal the only way to apply false eyelashes, expert makeup artist at FalseEyelashes.co.uk, Saffron Hughes, shares her secrets.

I love to use a Gentle Gel Enzyme Cleanser that gently sloughs away dead dry skin cells. Enzymes help to break down unwanted debris on the skin, but they also help to restore and repair the top layers of skin.

Top make-up artist Jen Gooding specialises in e-commerce and editorial make-up, as well as bridal. Here are her top five tips for flawless foundation application. 1) Prep. To make sure you are getting the most out of your foundation application, preparing the skin is the most important part. The key is to make sure your moisture levels in the skin are on top, to do this I recommend introducing a hyaluronic acid serum into your skin care routine, This adds more hydration as it draws moisture into crepey skin, try 'The Inkey List - Hyaluronic Acid Serum'.
