What are the bridal hair trends for both brides and grooms for autumn/winter?
This autumn/winter we're seeing a move towards effortless, healthy-looking hair rather than overly structured styles. Sleek updos, textured French twists and glossy waves remain popular for brides, often accessorised with pearls, veils or flowers. For grooms, it's all about well-groomed, natural styles with healthy texture and subtle styling.
For brides that want to be sustainable, what tips do you have when it comes to their hair styling and colour?
Sustainability starts long before the wedding day. Invest in good hair health instead of dramatic last-minute colour changes, choose colour services that require less maintenance, and work with products that are cruelty-free, and made with naturally derived ingredients. Hair accessories can also be hired, borrowed or reused after the wedding.
Do you have some general hair tips and hair hacks for autumn/winter wedding hair?
Autumn and winter weather can bring dampness, wind and central heating, so preparation is key. Start with a smoothing treatment if you have frizzy hair and avoid trying a completely new colour or cut at the last minute, and always schedule a hair trial. On the day, anti-humidity products and a small emergency kit with pins, a mini hairspray and smoothing serum can help keep your style looking fresh from the ceremony through the evening.
