The UK's marriage 'hotspots' revealed!: Image 1 Dreaming of tying the knot? Then chances are you may well live in Slough! EliteSingles has discovered the Berkshire town is the number one hotspot for wedding wannabes.

A survey by the online dating site has revealed the nation's top marriage-friendly hotspots and it turns out there's a country-wide spread with Slough beating London to first spot closely followed by Hertfordshire's Watford.

South East England was heavily represented in the top 20, with Guildford (5th), Reading (8th), Bracknell (11th), Oxford (12th), Crawley (14th) and Milton Keynes (18th).

The study looked at anonymous data from 61,000 UK singles registered with the platform and analysed responses to the statement 'marriage is important for me and should be for my partner' and averaged out the results geographically.
