Fabrics companies gear up for Textile Forum

Fabrics companies gear up for Textile Forum: Image 1 The next Textile Forum, London's luxury fashion fabric show running from 13th-14th March at One Marylebone, will offer bridal designers and fabric buyers the opportunity to select textiles for current and future collections.

“Textile Forum exhibitors are geared up to provide swatches and sample lengths, and many also invest heavily in stock so that they can offer low minimums. This is really important when designers have to meet last-minute customer orders on current lines, while also planning their new collections,” says event director Amy Packham.

With more than 100 collections on show this March, designers will have a great choice of fabrics for brides, grooms, MOB and bridesmaids, as well as specific fabrics for lingerie, outerwear and menswear. Textile Forum covers the gamut of fabric types, from leathers to fine silks, cottons, wools, embroideries, laces and prints. Over the past few seasons, Textile Forum has encouraged garment manufacturers to exhibit and in March this continues, with companies from London and the Midlands taking stands at the event. “One of the most common questions we are asked is where can I source good garment manufacturing? For our visitors to be able to select fabrics and discuss production in one location makes perfect sense,” adds Amy.
