Waterside wedding venue

Wedding venue of the week: Image 1 If a waterside setting is on your wedding wish list, check out the Port House, a Portsmouth wedding venue with views over the Port Solent Marina and yachts.

The modern venue has outside seating so you can make the most of the quayside location, there's a waterfront terrace and patio too; perfect for reception drinks or a barbecue when the weather's fine. In fact, on a sunny day, you could almost be in Monaco!

Inside the bright and airy space, the contemporary furnishing includes a bespoke bar made from reclaimed railway sleepers and a feature ceiling. Wedding ceremonies are held in the Regatta Room or the larger Ocean Suite which can host up to 120 family and friends for your 'I dos' followed by a sit-down meal. For larger wedding receptions with up to 300 guests, a marquee can be attached to the side.

What's more, the on-site caterers are the award-winning Vanilla Catering. Dedicated to producing bespoke meals using local Hampshire produce, newlyweds-to-be can enjoy a complimentary tasting so you know what to look forward to on the big day.
