Love at first swipe

Georgia and Taylor met online and planned their first date at a bar in London.

They clicked right away, and it didn't take them long to realise they were meant to be together.

Bride and Groom Taylor proposed during a family holiday to Lanzarote. "We went away to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday," says Georgia. "It was really unexpected, so when he asked me to marry him by the sea with all of my family present, I was in complete shock!"

Here the bride shares some of her favourite moments from their big day...

Venue

Taylor's mum is a cake maker, so he was brought up around the wedding industry and already knew of Oaks Farm.

What attracted us the most was the scenic setting and that we could have exclusive use with everything in one place.

Favours

The favours were made by Taylor's mum, who is the owner of Wedding Cakes by Lisa Broughton. She created white macarons decorated with gold edible leaf and gold and white sugar sprinkles. We placed them in boxes for the adults and gave the children and g uests with nut allergies Kinder chocolate bars in an acetate bag tied with a gold ribbon.

Colour scheme

Our colour scheme was white, light grey and green with touches of gold. I incorporated these colours into the stationery, flowers, cake and venue décor.

Flowers

Wisteria Green provided our flowers which were avalanche roses, white hydrangeas, white lisianthus, spray roses and masses of eucalyptus.

Centrepieces

For the centrepieces, we chose two different styles.

The first was a tall square gold frame with cascading flowers and candles underneath, and the other was a gold hoop with flowers and glass votives placed around the outside.

Cake

Taylor's mum also made our wedding cake. It was six tiers and decorated with a sugar paste finish and handmade flowers. We opted for a variety of flavours, including strawberry and champagne, coconut and lime, zesty lemon, and classic Madagascan vanilla and raspberry. The cake, of course, was one of the best parts of the day. It was so beautifully conducted and special to us. She really went above and beyond.

Bride I wore a Morilee dress from Bromley Brides. I chose this particular gown because I loved the lace details on the sides and the backless look.

Groom & Groomsmen

Taylor and the groomsmen chose black tuxedos by Hugo Boss. To help Taylor stand out, he wore a cumberbund.

Bridesmaids

The bridesmaids opted for light grey dresses with cowl necks and pleated splits.

Catering

We booked 10 Flavours to do our catering. They were one of the recommended suppliers from Oaks Farm, and we loved that our guests could choose their three courses.

String Quartet

During the ceremony and drinks reception, we had The Monaco String Quartet entertain our friends and family.

Day We both felt nervous and excited on the morning of the wedding. Everything went by so quickly and was just as we'd imagined it.
