The Oaksmere is a lovingly restored country house, set in 17 acres of landscaped parkland. Nestled in the grounds is our idyllic wedding marquee, with the Suffolk countryside as a backdrop, providing a picturesque and tranquil setting. Our Victorian kitchen garden is at the heart of our menus, local and homegrown produce is expertly prepared by our Executive Chef and his expert team.
Enjoy your drinks reception on our croquet lawn, or inside the marquee where our bar will be open throughout. With many entertainment options to consider whilst your guests enjoy drinks and canapes, from giant garden games and fairground rides to acoustic singers or a magician – see our hand-picked suppliers list for our selection of the best entertainment. Your wedding breakfast will be served inside the marquee, boasting natural light, private entrance, fully equipped stage, and private bar, you and your guests will feel worlds away in your own private oasis.
The main house offers 6 bedrooms and 4 suites, with 4 additional family bedrooms in the Coach House. Your bridal suite is included the night prior and night of your wedding, we provide room service breakfast and pamper packages for the night prior for you to enjoy with your bridal party, we also offer in room message treatments for the ultimate relaxing night before the big day!
