A wedding celebrant is someone who creates your personal wedding ceremony and afficiates on your wedding day at your chosen wedding venue whenever that may be,
however there is still a requirement to give notice and do your declarations via your registration office for your wedding to be legally recognised.
Choosing a Celebrant to conduct your wedding ceremony rather than a church minister or a registrar means you can have the wedding of your dreams with mo limitations. A celebrant led wedding can be on the beach..your favourite pub..your own garden or by the river.
There doesn't need to have religious vows but can include readings, poems or songs by family or friends or your children. You will create your own ceremony with your celebrant. I have had 10 years experience creating personal and unique ceremonies and of course humanist ceremony too are very popular.
Tips to think about
Look for an experienced celebrant who has a website with photos and testimonials.
Have a chat ...this is best done on line at the moment...you can ask any questions and you will know whether he or she is the right one for you very quickly.
Book a legal ceremony at a register office..it can be on the same day or day before you will need 2 witnesses.
