In spring, the hotel welcomes a colourful display of rhododendrons and outdoor wedding pavilion with the beautiful backdrop of the South Downs for the summer months. Within the grounds, there are plenty of ancient trees to create a blaze of vibrant colours in the autumn and candlelit ceremonies and roaring log fires add to the atmosphere of love and romance when there is a chill in the air in winter.
Fully licensed to conduct civil ceremonies, couples can exchange their vows as well as have their wedding reception… it’s the ultimate country house setting and as such, there is the most fabulous choice of suites and rooms to host weddings in stylish elegance.
A stunning place to stay whether it’s a first honeymoon night or for guests - each of our 85 bedrooms have been individually designed – some have four poster beds with handmade mattresses, some have double baths and two even have their own private open air hot tubs!
