The diverse duos, selected for their unique stories, joined the brand to talk love, life and everything in between and were photographed by Feelunique’s own dynamic duo, Tess Mickleburgh and Martina Bruno.
Nurse Gemma, who identifies as London's Lesbian Sweetheart, makes a surprise comeback after appearing in the 'Unique Christmas' campaign in 2021. She's joined by her new fiancée Meghan who says she knows their love is unique because it's like nothing she's felt before. They're happiest when they're at home together, being silly and sharing stories before bed.
Martha, who is single and fabulous, brought along her significant other – an adorable ginger kitten named Morris. She hasn't found a Mr, Mrs or Mx. Right yet, instead the PHD student is focusing on something more important: self love and kitty cuddles, whether he wants them or not.
Another engaged couple, Kerry and Tim found each other through an app. Despite their first date ending in a £300 taxi fare, the pair were hooked from the start, 100 per cent believing in love at first sight. After three Covid induced cancellations, they're hoping to have their wedding this year.
Mother and son, Laura and Dash, have more than their striking blonde hair in common – they’re bound by a shared passion for makeup and manicures. Dash says their love is unique because they hang out like best friends. Laura understands that some parents might be nervous about having a child that pushes the boundaries of gender, but she encourages Dash to be an individual, she adores that he is.
Finally, makeup artist and influencer Jaydeen is joined by her hometown sweetheart, Ben. With a big move to London on the cards, she says Ben is supportive of all her dreams and ideas – big or small. They aren’t worried about going long distance for a while; they think it’s important to champion each other’s careers and goals.
With hair by Jonny Eagland from Virtue Labs and skin prep from the team at Sarah Chapman, the brief was all about celebrating the natural beauty of the real-life muses. Make-up looks were created by artists from Too Faced. The iconic brand, founded by couple Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson, makes its Feelunique debut this February.
