Norman Soul brings the Spirit of Normandy to the UK with a collection of delicious organic Calvados, liqueurs and a sparkling pear wine – just in time for summer weddings! Made by craftsmen the traditional way, Normal Soul is a new collection of rare small-batch Calvados, apple and pear liqueurs and a refreshing sparkling pear wine sourced from independent producers in Normandy and now available in selected Essex wedding venues including Downham Hall in Downham, Essex.
Founded by Ted Guesnon, who grew up in his native Normandy and now lives in Billericay, Essex, Norman Soul introduces British drink lovers to organic spirits and aperitifs that celebrate tradition, quality and the art of just slowing down!
Beautifully presented in elegant glass bottles with pretty labels, the whole range is very wedding-reception worthy and perfect for formal weddings or relaxed, rustic style wedding parties.
The collection includes an organic Sparkling Pear wine, a light and refreshing alternative to prosecco, making it perfect for summer weddings and alfresco entertaining: Its crisp fruit character also makes it an ideal base for seasonal cocktails, including everyone's favourite Hugo Spritz.
To add a little sophistication to your wedding reception you could try the Norman Soul Calvados delivers warm apple flavours with spicy caramel undertones. Enjoyed neat, over ice or in cocktails, it also pairs beautifully with wedding desserts and sharing charcuterie boards.
The range also features Pommeau, a traditional Normandy apple spirit matured in oak barrels for six months, creating a smooth, honeyed finish. It is delicious served as a dessert drink or topped with champagne when there is something special to celebrate!
