Renowned matcha brand PerfectTed launches wedding initiative

If there's one thing every wedding needs, it's energy and lots of it. From early-morning prep to late-night dancing, it's a full- day marathon of emotions, celebrations and unforgettable moments. That's why PerfectTed – Europe's #1 matcha brand – has launched PerfectWed, a new nationwide sampling initiative offering free matcha drinks to selected UK couples tying the knot.

As part of the campaign, PerfectTed will send selected couples a curated selection of matcha drinks, including the brand's Healthy Energy cans and matcha lattes for wedding guests to enjoy. The couples will also have the chance to have their wedding speeches professionally filmed and featured in the brand's upcoming Speech Series.

The idea for the campaign was born not in a boardroom, but at the wedding of co-founders Marisa Poster and Levi Levenfiche. Held in Forte Dei Marmi, Italy, the three-day celebration was more than a union of two people; it became the spark behind a revolutionary business idea.

When Marisa and Levi served PerfectTed cans throughout their three-day wedding celebration on the Italian coast, they saw something special: a dance floor full of guests still going strong at sunrise, not wired from sugar or crashing from caffeine, but riding the smooth, sustained buzz of matcha. That weekend made one thing obvious: PerfectTed belongs at weddings.

  • HEALTHY ENERGY - APPLE RASPBERRY
  • MATCHA LATTE - VANILLA

PerfectTed was born out of personal necessity. After finding that coffee and conventional energy drinks worsened her ADHD and anxiety, co-founder Marisa Poster turned to matcha, and it was a game-changer. The only problem? It was nearly impossible to find in the UK – either missing entirely from supermarket shelves and cafes, or sold at prohibitively high prices in specialist health stores. Together with brothers Teddie and Levi Levenfiche, she launched PerfectTed in 2021 with a simple mission to make matcha accessible to everyone.

Since its appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den in 2023, PerfectTed has gone from a modest startup to a global success story. Stocked in over 30,000 stores across 50+ countries, the brand is now Europe’s largest matcha brand and the UK’s fastest-growing tea company.
