This cosmopolitan city is an ideal choice for a hen weekend as it offers a huge variety of things to do. The Capital of Portugal is one of the coolest party cities in Europe and as it's currently on the UK's green list of countries we've got the 'ok' to visit, it takes prime position in our top places to go for a hen weekend.
With gorgeous weather all year round, stunning sandy beaches and its traditional gothic architecture with picturesque red terracotta roofs, you can guarantee Insta-worthy snaps on every street corner.
You'll be spoilt for choice in Lisbon with stunning sights, culture and great food and drink. So if a hen weekend abroad is something you crave, this Portuguese city will tick all the boxes for a hen city break.
Must do: Visit the Tower of Belem, take a tram ride and book a vineyard tour.

4. Newquay
For those that are desperate for a holiday abroad but not keen on the hassle of the Covid-19 travel checks, Cornwall is certainly the next best thing. If the bride-to-be loves the beach and a buzzy nightlife, then Newquay is the perfect place to head to.
Situated on Cornwall's Atlantic Coast, the town is most notable for its stunning beaches and surfing culture. You will be sure to experience a staycation hen weekend with a sense of being abroad here and you can guarantee a truly memorable weekend away!
