Your Yorkshire Wedding - Jan/Feb 2018 (Issue 28)

We hired the New York Brass Band for entertainment. We’d seen them at Glastonbury a couple of years before and they’re so much fun. They got everyone dancing and did a little parade through the woods and on the walk to the car park. We hired vintage buses to take us from the mill to Pete’s parents’ house. It was brilliant as we had a quiz and drank Pimm’s en route. I wore the Sally veil from Rime Arodaky. I liked the white roses and thought it was a nice nod to my husband’s heritage. My hair and make-up artist, Sam Collins was super professional, she delivered the brief perfectly and understood that I didn’t want to wear much make-up. I wanted a wavy hair do and she found a picture of Isla Fisher with the perfect style, so she copied that. I had eight bridesmaids who wore Reformation dresses in different styles but the same colour. 31 REAL WEDDINGS
