Your East Midlands Wedding - Feb/Mar 2019 (Issue 30)

I wore a blush fit and flare dress covered in lace with an illusion back and a cathedral train. I didn’t expect to choose a blush coloured design, however, there were tears shed when I tried it on so I knew it was the one. Michael wore a navy suit with a pink tie and pocket square and to complement my accessories, he had a delicate gold tie pin and cufflinks. We wanted a venue that reflected how everything comes into bloom in spring. The Walled Garden was perfect with its flowers, apple arch, open space for guests to mingle and little hidden spots for our photos. Sophie from Imagine is amazing and along with her team they made the marquee look incredible. I opted for minimal accessories to allow the dress to take centre stage. I wore my hair up with a rose gold hair vine and a delicate necklace, bracelet and earrings. We opted for multiway dresses, so our bridesmaids could style them however they felt comfortable. They accessorised with gypsophila in their hair to match their bouquets. 50
