Instant attraction Jade and Michael celebrated their springtime wedding by creating a floral extravaganza Images courtesy of Helen King Photography Jade and Michael’s paths first crossed on a night out on New Year’s Eve. “We were introduced by my cousin who’d known Michael for years,” says Jade. “What instantly attracted us to one another was how well we got on from the start. It was as though we’d known each other for ages.” Five years later the duo were on holiday in Jamaica when Michael proposed. “He’d organised a private candlelit dinner on the beach, it was perfect. He’d always said that when the time came for him to propose that he wouldn’t do it abroad as it would be too obvious so I never suspected a thing. It was such a shock,” she says.
