He asked a passerby to take a photo of them and, as they waited for the picture to be taken, Gary got down on one knee. The couple viewed several venues, but Kimberley Hall stood out straight away. “We knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony, weather permitting, but the music room inside was beautiful as a backup option,” says Amy. “The wedding planners, Becca and SJ, were lovely, and we felt confident they would help us create the wedding of our dreams.” They chose a romantic, elegant theme with ivory and lilac accents throughout. A stunning wedding arch was created using a mixture of real and silk flowers, including roses and wisteria. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed sustainable canapés served with prosecco, beer or elderflower pressé. For the wedding breakfast, REAL WEDDINGS 33
