Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - May/June 2020 (Issue 51)

We both love cooking, so decided to give parsley, chive and coriander seeds as our wedding favours. We made up small packets with printed cards and sticky labels. When I was at university, I set up a performing arts society, so I invited some of their current members to perform at our ceremony. They sang some of our favourite songs from the musicals. My sister was my bridesmaid and she wore a ruffled pink dress. My man-of-honour was dressed in a burgundy velvet blazer with statement buttonhole. We hung tissue paper pompoms from the ceiling in the ceremony room, and hired a floral hoop to serve as the backdrop for our vows. 38
