Round 5 The day “We opted for a travel theme for our special day; we’ve had so many adventures together that have shaped us as a couple that it seemed perfect for us,” explains Natalie. “Colshaw Hall was the ideal venue; the rustic ceremony stables and glamorous manor house ticked every box, and the staff were fabulous. We joked that Shelley, the wedding coordinator, was my seventh bridesmaid!” “We’re both quite crafty so everything from the invitations to the venue décor had our personal stamp on it,” remembers the bride. The best bits “We’d convinced ourselves it was going to snow, but the weather was wonderful. We were milling around in the walled garden drinking peach Bellini’s like it was summer!” says Natalie. “At the end of the night we sat with a glass of bubbly in our Mr & Mrs bathrobes gushing about how perfect our big day had been.” Natalie and Timothy Natalie Robinson and Timothy Beresford tied the knot on 31 st March, 2017 at Colshaw Hall, Over Peover. Their day had a peach and soft-green colour palette and was captured by Emma Hillier Photography (emmahillierphotography.com) . The day “We chose a sunflower motif to run throughout the day. Our centrepieces were sunflowers, gerberas and delphiniums, which was also reflected in the decoration on our delicious three-tier vegetarian cake,” says the bride. “We wanted to make our wedding as personal to us as possible so instead of favours we made a charity donation to our favourite dog shelters.” The best bits “The whole day was full of memorable moments, from my dad walking me down the aisle to my mum giving a lovely speech even though she was very nervous,” remembers Cathy. “I’ll certainly never forget driving around Knutsford town centre in a vintage VW (idocampers.co.uk ).” “We had some wonderful local suppliers,” continues the bride. “Our photographer, Amanda, and the staff at Cottons Hotel made the whole day so relaxed and enjoyable.” Cathy and Paul Cathy Burgess and Paul Antonio tied the knot on 21 st May, 2017 at The Cottons Hotel & Spa, Knutsford.
