Hannah fell in love with the grand staircase and I could already envisage having our photographs taken in the picturesque grounds.” Memorable moments “We lost Hannah’s nan a month before the big day and we thought about postponing the celebrations,” explains the groom. “Deep down we knew that’s not what she would’ve wanted so we went ahead and Hannah’s dad made a very moving toast in her honour. “Our most treasured memory is seeing each other for the first time after spending nearly a month apart because of my job,” remembers Alan. “We’d had a difficult year so it was special to look at each other and know that we’d made it.” Hannah and Alan Hannah Evans and Alan Walkden tied the knot on 6 th July, 2017 at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa.
