An Essex Wedding - Jan/Feb 2018 (Issue 84)

We wanted to choose an exclusive venue, not only with beautiful grounds but also stunning décor throughout so we’d still have the opportunity for great photographs inside. We adored the Rococo bridal suite and ornate wedding breakfast room. My gorgeous bouquet was full of pale-pink peonies and sweet peas, complete with cream silk ribbon and pearl pins. In keeping with the timeless theme we chose to dress the groomsmen in black tie. Karl wore a three-piece double-breasted Hackett suit to ensure he stood out. The two best men, the bride’s brother, usher and father-of-the-groom all wore a single-breasted version. I wore a Suzanne Neville dress Athena. I loved the fit, eyelash-lace detail and scalloped edging. I asked for it to be made in an off-the-shoulder style and changed the under layer to a champagne satin to really make it my own. I accessorised with a Suzanne Neville traditional cathedral-length veil, Jimmy Choo Lang heels in gold and pearl earrings. 44
