Drawing on two different sides of Emily Brontë’s iconic Yorkshire-set novel Wuthering Heights, these styled shoots reimagine the classic tale through two strikingly different bridal aesthetics Images courtesy of Garett Wilde Photography TWO WEDDINGS With more than 25 years in the wedding industry under her belt, bridal hair stylist Sarah Goodbarn, otherwise known as Bridal Hair by Bronte, set out to create a duo of contrasting shoots, celebrating her love for creating hair that feels soft, romantic and effortlessly beautiful, yet still expressive and versatile. “I’ve always been inspired by Wuthering Heights,” Sarah says. “I wanted to translate the wild landscapes, muted tones, and a sense of untamed romance into a modern bridal setting.” Part one embraces the natural, windswept aesthetic of the iconic novel, where the hair feels lived-in. Soft movement, delicate texture and understated elegance ensure the styles don’t feel overly structured. Meanwhile, the shoot’s palette of warm golds, soft beiges, antique rose pinks, and deep, earthy wood tones echo the surrounding landscape, creating a cohesive, dreamlike softness. Photographer Garett Wilde brings an artistic depth to the imagery, capturing light in a painterly way, while Moorland Blooms perfectly interpreted the brief with textured florals that enhance the Wuthering Heights-inspired atmosphere.
