James wore a custom tux from Slaters with a white satin pocket square and patent leather shoes. His groomsmen were sharply dressed to match. In homage to his favourite fantasy films, the Harry Potter series, he added a golden snitch pin to his lapel. The focus on the big day was very much on epic entertainment. Confetti cannons heralded the newlyweds’ walk back up the aisle and first dance, and were even let off on the dance floor. The DJ’s playlist was largely selected by the couple and included the best of the 90s and 00s music with a saxophone player to support. One of the night’s highlights was a firework display, which James designed with the team as a surprise for Leah and their guests. “Standing with my new husband watching our guests enjoy the show put on just for us with our sax player behind us, was a magical moment,” Leah remembers. For the bride, walking down the aisle towards James was an experience she’ll never forget: “It was a feeling I’ll never experience again, the most special moment we’ll have,” she shares. Finally, Leah has some excellent tips to share: “Just do what you want to do. As I’m a wedding planner myself, not many people told me what I should and shouldn’t do.
