The pair went on holiday to Italy with Steven’s parents. They planned a day trip to Venice, where Steven was adamant he wanted to have a gondola ride, just the two of them. “His parents didn’t know he was going to propose, but he managed to sneak us off together,” Jade remembers. It was on the gondola that Steven asked Jade to be his wife – to her complete surprise! Back at home, the pair set the date for 27 th September, 2019, at Whitley Hall Hotel.
