He played piano as our loved ones arrived and sang while I walked down the aisle. He then performed a full set during the drinks reception, played Your Song for our first dance, then turned DJ in the evening – he really is multi-talented. We thought it would be difficult organising a wedding 250 miles away from home, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. The team at Yorebridge House were so helpful and made everything run smoothly. It also helped that the majority of our suppliers were local and had worked together before. A special shout-out goes to our photographer, Kathryn, who captured our day perfectly so we can re-live it for years to come. We were so excited for the day. We’re both pretty relaxed and knew that as long as there was food, alcohol and music everyone would have a great time. We’re not used to being centre of attention, but it was a great feeling knowing everyone was there for us. Rachael’s top tip:The venue is the glue that holds everything together, so make sure it’s somewhere you love.
