Your West Midlands Wedding - April/May (Issue 79)

My top tip for any couple is to try and not overthi nk everything. We did the North Coast 500 around Scotland after our wedding in 2020. The scenery was breathtaking. It was great being together just the two of us roaming around the coast exploring, trying to spot wildlife and cooking dinner. We hired a DJ from Party Punks. It was the first social event a lot of us had been to due to COVID-19, so we were all looking forward to seeing each other. Louise Holgate Photography took the most beautiful candid shots, which really captured the essence of the evening. I wore an Eternity Bridal dress which I’d bought from Lily Rose Bridal Boutique. I’d worn it in Scotland for the wedding and wasn’t sure if I’d wear it again. I thought I’d opt for something smaller, but once I tried it on, I was sold, and it had pockets! I added a bespoke gold Donald Stanley wrap and changed into a silver and gold sequin dress by Donald Stanley towards the end of the evening. I wore the same earrings and hair clip as I’d worn for the wedding, but added my late Nana’s bracelet as she’d passed away in early 2021. Stu wore a custom suit from Moss Bros. REAL WEDDINGS 41
