OCEAN WAVES Chloe and Mike had a relaxed celebration at the stunning Lythe Hill Images courtesy of Mindy Coe Photography C hloe and Mike first locked eyes at Princes Water Ski Club in 2009. “I was 17 and he was 20,” says Chloe. “We’re both into wakeboarding and water sports, so we were instantly drawn to one another. I thought he was a bit of a show-off at first, but over time I realised how much of a kind, caring person he is. We spent a large part of our first year together travelling, wakeboarding, surfing and paddleboarding.” Mike popped the question after eight years together. “He took me for a lovely picnic around Virginia water lake,” shares the bride. “It was early September so the trees were still green and there was a bit of summer left. We sat in a secluded spot with a lovely view of the lake. I started to get the food ready, and he got out a shell. In that shell sat the perfect engagement ring. He got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him and of course, I cried!” Here she shares some of her favourite moments from their big day… 47  REAL WEDDINGS
