For the “I dos” you have the opportunity to choose from a range of delightful spaces. The Grand Hall (120 guests) is a large, double-height Hall, boasting a beautiful, coffered ceiling. It also features a large central fireplace with a tall mantel and historic plaque commemorating the House’s use as a WWI hospital. You can also celebrate in style here with 180 guests. The Blue Room (70 guests) is a stunning Georgian-style space, filled with light. Its doors open up onto the south-facing terrace, overlooking the beautiful South Downs to the sea. The Orangery (65 guests) is picturesque and sunlit, with a decorative tiled floor and plenty of traditional features. It can also host your reception for 80 guests. For al-fresco vows, look no further than the Lower Garden (120 guests). Its perfectly manicured lawn is separated by garden walls overlooking the South Downs all the way to the sea. For religious ceremonies, there are two churches set in the beautiful village of Slindon within walking distance of the House: St Mary’s (CofE) and St Richard’s (RC).
