“Spend as much time as you can with your loved one; the day goes by so quickly.” - Michelle and Liam from Blossom to Bloom in Llanelli, matched stunning natural-looking flowers to complement the surroundings and garden,” Michelle tells us. “For our evening reception, Victoria provided white roses and floating candles. The venue is already quite intimate so we just needed something simple.” Michelle and Liam’s guests enjoyed champagne and canapés before their wedding breakfast. “As Liam is a chef and cooks many three-course traditional wedding breakfasts, we opted for something a little different and decided on tapas and cocktails that everyone could enjoy throughout the afternoon,” Michelle says. “For the evening, we chose paella cooked in a traditional large pan and Liam’s mum made our delicious wedding cake!” Michelle wore a fishtail dress by the Ukrainian designer Yedyna. “I loved it! I see so many beautiful dresses being a wedding coordinator at our venue, and I hadn’t seen anything quite like it before.” Liam wore a double-breasted suit from Solidgold Menswear in Llanelli. “They made smaller versions of it for our two sons, William and Oscar, who looked so cute!” Michelle says. “Our groomsmen had single-breasted versions to match, and our beautiful bridesmaids wore olive green satin gowns, with our flowergirls dressed in cute white dresses.” Michelle and Liam had live music by The Hat and Fiddle Band, who performed throughout the day and evening. “We had An Irish Party in Third Class from the film Titanic as our first dance, which we thoroughly enjoyed,” Michelle tells us. “We also had a white bouncy castle and soft play to keep the little ones amused, and plenty of food and drinks flowing for the adult guests!” REAL WEDDINGS 23
