Your North West Wedding- October/November 2020 (Issue 64)

REAL WEDDINGS My dress was an A-line design called Dawson from Anna Sorrano. I tried it as a wild card as I loved the colour and sheen of the fabric. I did have to have the back altered to allow me to wear it with my growing bump, but it still looked beautiful. I accessorised with a veil, jewelled headband, diamond necklace and earrings. The speeches were amazing, and I loved walking down the aisle knowing I was about to marry my best friend. To keep our guests entertained, we hired a DJ from Dancefloor Couture. Our guests requested songs on their invitations, so we had a great mixture of tunes. We also had a free gin bar that went down a treat. Sam wore a grey suit and tweed bow tie from Slater Menswear with a different coloured waistcoat to help him stand out. We felt excited and nervous on the morning of the wedding, but once the ceremony was over, we relaxed and began to enjoy ourselves. The bridesmaids chose floor-length gowns from Tfnc London. 23 
