Your North West Wedding - Feb/Mar 2020 (Issue 60)

We each had one best man and a maid-of-honour. We asked them to wear light grey and let them pick their own outfits. They looked amazing and complemented each other perfectly. We wanted to book as many local suppliers as possible to reflect our love for the area. Abbie’s dress was a Stella York design from Joanne Kay Bridal Boutique. She wanted a fitted dress, with a high neckline and she accessorised with a delicate bracelet, matching earrings and a hairpiece. I felt quite relaxed until about half-an-hour before I walked down the aisle. I couldn’t smile properly as my lips kept quivering. We loved the speeches and would really like to thank Abbie’s mum and dad for their gorgeous readings during the ceremony and humorous yet touching speeches. My friend introduced me to Rembo Styling, and I loved their boho, alternative wedding dresses. I chose a gown called Bubblicious from Leigh Hetherington, which was actually the first one that I tried on. I accessorised with diamond stud earrings given to me by my uncle as a birthday present, a bracelet and ring. We didn’t know about each other’s dresses, hair or make-up and it was amazing seeing each other for the first time. REAL WEDDINGS 49 
