Your North West Wedding - Feb/Mar 2020 (Issue 60)

To light up the space, we hired a dancefloor from Ice Entertainment UK. It made the reception space feel bright and tied in well with our theme. Kieran and I hired Flower Time to do our big-day blooms. The arrangements matched the bridesmaids’ dresses perfectly, and we incorporated freesias as it had always been my mum’s favourite. As our wedding was only a few weeks away, we were stressed about finding a venue. Once we saw The Villa, Wrea Green, we knew it was the place for us. It stood out by a mile, and we loved its rustic theme and woodland scenery. For our centrepieces we chose wooden logs, with small jars placed on top, filled with pink and white flowers and hessian details. Our wedding was on Bonfire Night, so we decided to give our guests chocolate apples as favours. We chose a plain three-tier frosted cake from Fairies Cupcake Creations. It had a rustic pattern and flowers that matched the room’s décor. 30
