37 REAL WEDDINGS We did miss our guests that couldn’t come, but we focused on the positives and was able to have an intimate day with time to spend with everyone.  My centrepieces consisted of three hanging glass baubles with candles and flowers inside. David matched the groomsmen and our dads who all wore the same three-piece navy blue suit and pink-blush ties. We had to limit our day guests from 80 to 30 because of COVID-19, but we didn’t let this stop us from having our dream day! We both felt elated on the day and relieved that the day was going ahead. My maid-of-honour, my sister and my two best friends were my bridesmaids and all looked beautiful in taupe/blush dresses. I bought David personalised cufflinks to open on the morning of the wedding with the location of our engagement on one, and the wedding venue on the other. Me and my daughters wore our hair down all in the same style.
