Your North East Wedding - January/February 2021 (Issue 42)

36 When we entered the barn, my hopes of a rustic romantic wedding came true. The space featured wooden floors, original beams, lanterns and candles. Our two daughters carried hessian baskets filled with beautiful flowers, including blush-pink roses to match all the bouquets. I accessorised my dress with teardrop earrings, cathedral-length veil and a matching bracelet and hair vine. We’ve always loved the food at South Causey Inn, a menu tasting evening confirmed just how tasty it was and we knew our guests would love it. We picked a three-tiered ivory cake, which featured blush-pink flowers that were handcrafted to match the romantic theme. The service at Mia Sposa Bridal Boutique in Newcastle upon Tyne was amazing! I wanted a mermaid-style gown and fell in love with a Pronovias dress called Drinam , which included stunning beading and lace.
