For the wedding breakfast, Frederica and Bobby wanted a menu that reflected both of their personalities and favourite foods. Arancini made the perfect Italian-inspired starter, followed by a traditional roast dinner and a decadent chocolate delice for dessert. Bobby’s dad made sure nobody went hungry, arranging an evening buffet before Wotton House’s new pizza kitchen served up fresh pizzas later in the evening. Frederica wore Idole by Dando London. Having originally planned to visit two bridal boutiques, she began her search at Brides Visited in Ashtead. She arrived with a clear idea of what she wanted – a high neck, long sleeves and lace – but was open to trying different styles. After trying on a beautiful gown that wasn’t quite right, the consultants suggested another dress. “They said, ‘I’ve got something I think you’re going to love.’ I tried it on and instantly fell in love!” The dress featured exquisite detailing, a beautiful shape and an impressive train, perfectly matching the vision she’d had in her head. A matching veil completed the look. Bobby looked smart in a gorgeous navy suit from Dapper in Dorking. He opted for tails, while his dad, who was also the best man, wore a morning jacket. The groomsmen completed the classic look in traditional short jackets. The bridesmaids wore beautiful blush-pink dresses from Coast, each finished with a pretty tie-up bow at the back. Music and entertainment played an important role throughout the day. Barber String Quartet provided the soundtrack to the ceremony and drinks reception, while Napoli Gelato UK kept both the children and adults cool with delicious treats. Francesco Caricatures entertained guests throughout the day and evening, creating unique keepsakes for everyone to take home. As the celebrations continued, London Event DJs provided a photobooth, while DJ Curtis Jay took over the decks and kept the dancefloor moving. For Frederica, choosing just one highlight is impossible. “Every moment was a highlight!” From her sister saving the day by finding the items Frederica had mistakenly left for Bobby to drop off at the venue, to her brother walking her down the aisle, there were countless moments that will stay with the couple forever. But perhaps the most meaningful was finally saying “I do” to the man Frederica has loved for more than half her life. “Seeing all our loved ones enjoy themselves and get up on the dancefloor are definitely moments I replay over and over again.” 36
