DINNER AT CLOISTERS As evening arrived, we headed down to Cloisters, the hotel’s award-winning 2AA Rosette restaurant – and arguably one of the most atmospheric dining rooms in Surrey. Neo-Gothic arches soar overhead, intricate stone carvings line the walls, and mullioned windows frame sweeping countryside views. Dinner here feels like an occasion! The seasonal British menu strikes a lovely balance between classic and contemporary. Every dish felt re ned without being overly complicated, allowing the quality of the local ingredients to shine through. Service was attentive yet relaxed, and as much of the memory as the setting – thank you to Abdul, Alek and Al e!
