Undone, lived-in waves Soft waves remain a top choice, but for 2026 they’re looser, more textured, and less structured. “Think natural movement, brushed-out texture, nothing too set,” Chlöe explains. “It’s that effortless, expensivelooking hair that can often make brides feel super-comfortable if they’re used to wearing their hair down.” Arwa adds, “Delicate layering works beautifully here, small studs paired with thin rings and bracelets, let the hair remain the focus while subtly elevating the overall look.” The low/ mid-height textured bun “A low or mid-height bun will always be timeless, but for 2026, it’s all about that purposeful texture within it,” Chlöe says. “Slightly undone, with a bit of softness around the face and not looking overly polished, this type of style is actually quite hard to achieve intentionally.” Arwa continues, “Updos make earrings the focal point, so this is where you can go slightly bolder. Statement earrings or sculptural studs create a clean, elevated finish.” Sleek styles “On the flip side, we’re also seeing a rise in supersleek hair. Think middle parts, glass-like finishes, straight long lengths, or neat slicked-back buns,” Chlöe shares. “Sleek styles leave no room for distraction, so the jewellery has to hold its own.
