We wanted to make sure we spoke to all of our guests, but it was hard to find enough time. We just didn’t want the day to end at midnight! Rob and I had secretly been tak ing Ceroc dance lessons for six m onths before the wedding. So, we perf ormed a routine we’d created fo r our first dance – the expressions on our family and friends’ faces we re just magical. It poured with rain but at least that meant the temperature had cooled down from 37 degrees two days before. It didn’t affect the day as we still got some beautiful photos at the church and venue in between showers. The venue staff were amazing and opened up some rooms we hadn’t planned on using for our welcome drinks and we effectively had the run of the hotel. My bridesmaids organised a dance class as part of my hen do, where we learnt a routine to (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life from Dirty Dancing. We were a bit unsure about performing it on the wedding night given our long dresses, but we gave it our best shot and guests loved it! 50
