Your Kent Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 91)

We provided boxes for everyone to take home a slice of cake to enjoy the next day with a cup of tea. We travelled from the church to the venue in a vintage Rolls Royce Phantom. It was a fantastic car inside and out, and Nigel from Distinctly Vintage was a fab chauffeur. The church ceremony was so emotional, it really did feel so meaningful saying our vows. The bridesmaids wore pale pink dresses with a lace top and flowing skirt. Jamie’s suit was custom made, so he was able to choose everything from the material to the style, which was a fun experience. He opted for a navy three-piece suit, and the groomsmen were dressed in a colour to match with rose and gypsophila buttonholes. My dress was one of the very first I tried on and new it was the one I would get married in. It was an Augusta Jones Sawyer design – a classic off-the- shoulder, fishtail silhouette in lace. I wore it with Rainbow Club court shoes and would highly recommend them as they were so comfortable. 48
